Hanamurasaki is a 25-room ryokan in Yamanaka Onsen (山中温泉, Yamanaka Onsen) that has been receiving guests since 1902. The open-air rooftop bath, Hirihara (ひらひら), looks down over the Kakusenkei (鶴仙渓) gorge, and all the guest rooms face the same river. The indoor public bath, Shunkashusetsu (春夏秋雪), is available around the clock. Suite rooms come with a private rotenburo (露天風呂) and sauna. The spring water is clear and odorless, smooth on the skin.
