527. 甲府昭和温泉ビジネスホテル, Showa, Yamanashi Old-school shabby business hotel with an onsen. Stayed overnight. There's higaeri for 700, listed as 06:00 to 22:00 (cleaning 09:30 to 13:00 on Mon, Wed, Fri). Early in the morning there were lots of young guys and girls on higaeri. Bath photos are from the internet, match the real thing. I booked a tatami room, but for those rooms the toilet and sink are shared on the floor. From the room window, Mt. Fuji was visible in the morning. Indoor area. Breathing inside is comfortable. 1. Large bath. Clear water with a brownish-yellow tint. Temperature around 44. 2. Small bath. Clear water with a brownish-yellow tint. Temperature around 40. 3. Sauna (was not working). 4.
