Totsukawa Onsen Public Bath Iorinoyu

A sodium-led bicarbonate-chloride spring emerging at 58 °C, well into the hot range. Weakly alkaline at pH 7.9, soft on the skin, with the chloride sub-type adding warmth-retaining body. The bicarbonate side gives the gentle, skin-smoothing feel of the jūsō-sen family, while the salt-tinged finish keeps the warmth lingering after the bath.
