439. Onyado Nono Asakusa Bettei, Tokyo Stayed overnight, didn't use any services besides the onsen. Located in Asakusa very close to Sensoji. The interior is styled as a hotel cosplaying as a ryokan. Feels a bit odd at first, but then you get used to it. The onsen follows the same approach — an upgraded Dormy Inn business hotel onsen, but with black water, which changes the whole assessment. Bath photos from the internet are accurate. 1. Indoor zone. Air is okay. 1.1. Main bath. Black water, temperature 41-42. 1.2. Two reclining jets. Clear water. 1.3. Utaseyu. 1.4. Sauna. 1.5. Cold bath. 2. Outdoor zone. Located entirely on an enclosed balcony. 2.1. Small bath with black water, temperature 42. 2.2. Single-person bath with clear water, temperature 39-40. 2.3. Single-person bath with clear water, temperature 42-43. The place is quite debatable given the price and format, but it's genuinely a hotel with an onsen in Tokyo, with great location and rare black water. Worth keeping in mind.
