A sodium-led bicarbonate spring of the classic juso-sen (soda-water) family. The source emerges cold at 14.7 °C, a cold-mineral spring heated for bathing. Weakly alkaline at pH 8.4 with the soft, slightly slippery feel that places it squarely in Japan's beauty-water tradition. Moderately mineralized at 3.49 g/kg total dissolved solids, the water carries a faint hydrogen-sulfide note and visible gas bubbles at the wellhead.

262. Mori no Cottage, Kawane ★ Hot spring complex for 1,000 yen. Day use is listed from 10:00 to 20:00, except Wednesdays. They stamp the Shizuoka 60 onsen stamp rally 24/25. There is a diner, a chill-out area, and a shop. The onsen is part of a cottage complex out in the countryside, with overnight stays and barbecue available. It has a remote, out-of-the-way feel. The bath photos are from the internet and only roughly match, since they do not show the outdoor bath at all or the great view from it. 1. Indoor area. The air is good. 1.1. Main indoor bath. The water is clear, slightly cloudy with fine lime sediment. Water temperature is 40. 1.2. Standing bath at 130 cm, water temperature 40. The water is clear, slightly cloudy. The bath is very pleasant. 1.3. Small jet area, water temperature 40. 1.4. Sauna. 1.5. Cold bath. 2. Outdoor bath with a splendid view of the river, mountains, forest, and maples. During the blossom season it will be amazing. Separate from the bath in the center was a plastic throne-like chair, where you could enjoy the opening view to the fullest. The water is slightly cloudy, with no lime, and the temperature is 41. An interesting place, worth considering, especially during the blossom season. 11.11.2024
