Perched on a hill above Beppu in the Hotta hot-spring (堀田温泉, Hotta Onsen) area, SEKIYA RESORT Terrace Midoubaru gives every room its own semi-open-air bath fed by the local sulfur spring, alongside a private terrace looking out over Beppu Bay, the city, and the mountains. A shared indoor bath is also on site. The building has a clean, natural-modern feel, and the hillside setting keeps it quiet and removed from the busier parts of town.
