The main indoor bath, known as Kin-no-yu (金の湯), runs kakenagashi with a pale yellowish-brown spring that feels faintly salty and leaves skin noticeably smooth. Outside, three pools called Mori no Rotenburo (森の露天風呂) sit among the trees, with sky and forest on all sides. A separate private bath, Gin-no-yu (銀の湯), is available for reservation by the half-hour. Both large bathrooms include a sauna. Day visitors are welcome.
