About

A six-room ryokan sitting on the edge of Lake Kasumigaura, where the property taps its own spring said to leave skin noticeably smooth. The communal baths are gender-rotating and source-flow: a second-floor observatory bath whose wide windows open to lake views, and a ground-floor hinoki and rock bath that sits half-open to the garden. A sauna is attached to the observatory bath. Four of the six rooms come with a private rotenburo, including three mezzanette rooms and the detached cottage. Private reserved bathing is also available. Guests must be of high-school age or older.
