623. Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shirahama Saichoraku, Wakayama ★★ Higaeri for 900/1200/1400 (depending on the day). Higaeri stated as 7:00 to 10:00 and 15:00 to 24:00 (last entry 22:00). They have higaeri food and onsen. M/F bath rotation available - I was in the Morning bath (Asa-no-Yu). Part of the Shirahama tegata (2 stickers). Bath photos from the internet roughly match - I visited in the evening. Outdoor stone-walled bath. Very cozy and atmospheric in the evening. Clear water, 41 degrees. Indoor bath with a stone centerpiece. Clear water, 41.5 degrees. Breathable inside. Sauna and cold bath available. A fairly typical large Oedo with the usual drawbacks, but the outdoor bath in the evening is excellent. Recommended for higaeri visits. 16.06.2025
