Yesterday we were unlucky with the onsen, but today we found a wonderful one. Seoto-no-yu The selection of baths is small: indoor and rotenburo, but the rotenburo has an amazing view of the forest, gorge, and river. No fence! Well, there is a fence, but it's the one in the photo (from the website) and it doesn't obstruct the view at all. There's also a sauna. With a window looking into the forest. I didn't check the water composition, but it feels soapy, with a pleasant effect on the skin. Price 1000 yen. Bath towel 550 yen, so it makes sense to bring your own. There's a bus that goes directly from the station to the onsen.
