About
A ryokan at Kaminoyama Onsen in Yamagata with separate indoor and open-air baths for men and women. One of the open-air baths, Manten, is carved from a large Zao stone. Guests can also reserve a private hilltop rotenburo (open-air bath), available to lodging guests only, with a maximum of two groups per day and no walk-ins; it closes during winter. One premium room, Hatago-Kura Usagino, comes with its own spring bath where the water runs directly from the source. Rabbits appear throughout the property as a design motif.
