A six-room ryokan in Kamogawa (Chiba) built around the Nagisa-no-yu (なぎさの湯) spring, which comes from the hills nearby and has a faint sulfur scent said to leave skin smooth. Despite the size, there are six baths in all: two bath wings (Sougetsu-no-yu and Fugetsu-no-yu), each pairing a rock rotenburo overlooking a Japanese garden with an indoor bath, rotating between men and women each day. A private kashikiri (貸切) bath adds a Shigaraki-ware indoor tub alongside a small outdoor rock bath, free for overnight guests. The place grew out of a fish shop, and the seafood-centered kaiseki meals reflect that lineage.
