Hidatei Hanaougi is a ryokan in Hida-Takayama with its own onsen spring, Jindai-no-yu (神代の湯), which is rare among the town's inns. The large communal baths include both indoor and open-air sections; the rotenburo switches between the men's and women's sides morning and evening. A private open-air bath (kashikiri rotenburo, 貸切露天風呂) is available by same-day reservation, and a number of rooms come with their own outdoor bath fed by the same spring water. There is also a footbath gallery on the ground floor where you can soak while looking out onto the inner garden.
