A higaeri spot (with a few rooms for overnight stays) with a small restaurant/cafeteria. In a very scenic location, near a river. Indoor baths: hot at 43, warm at 38, cold bath. Rotenburo at 42 — seems to not be onsen water, just regular water. The rotenburo faces the river, but you need to lean out to see it. Lots of greenery and a fresh atmosphere. The onsen is mildly alkaline with mineral salts. Heated and recirculated. Recommended for the rotenburo and atmosphere. Only an hour and a half from Tokyo.
