About
Two indoor baths, a cypress tub and a rock bath, share the bathhouse, and an open-air bath off the rock bath looks out over a bamboo garden. The water is clear and smooth on the skin. Reopened in 2025 after a renovation, the ryokan now runs as an auberge, with meals prepared by chef Masayuki Okuda of Al-che-cciano using Shonai local ingredients.
