About

Shinpachiya is a 17-room ryokan on the Ijika coast of Toba, inside Ise-Shima National Park, where every room looks toward the Pacific. Its indoor and open-air baths draw water piped in from Shin-Misato onsen (新美里温泉) and are said to leave the skin smooth, with the warmth lingering well after you towel off. Two reservable private outdoor baths, Kaze and Hikari, plus one guest room with its own open-air tub, add a quieter option, though the ryokan is upfront that these don't use the onsen water. It's a stay-only inn built around ocean views and the seafood of Ijika's fishing port, better suited to an unhurried night by the water than a quick soak.
