Tani Ryokan

A small, intimate ryokan in Okuhida that keeps mixed-bathing outdoor baths as its centrepiece. The water is a simple sulfur spring (単純硫黄泉), light and clear with a faint sulfurous note, and the hand-built bath is part of the charm. Aimed squarely at couples and friends who want a quiet, private-feeling soak. Overnight guests only.
