A small bathhouse on an ordinary residential street, with one indoor bath and a few wash stations. There is no shower, no hot water at the taps and no soap or shampoo, so come washed or bring your own. The water is salty and a little slippery, and it smells strongly of oil, closer to diesel than anything you would expect from a spring. The smell clings to skin and towels for hours afterward. The spring came up as a by-product of drilling for oil, and the building opened in 1954. It still looks and feels like a neighborhood bath, busy with locals, and the people at the counter are happy to explain the water.
