Site states only guests old enough to eat the course dinner may stay (preschool-age children not accepted). About

Osanpo-biyori is a small pension in Nakao Kogen, in Okuhida Onsengo, with Shakujo-dake and Yakedake visible from the grounds. Bathing here is entirely private: two indoor baths, each just big enough for two, and two open-air baths, Nanakamado-no-yu (ナナカマドの湯) reached straight from the corridor and Dakekanba-no-yu (ダケカンバの湯) reached by stepping outside through the garden. All four work kashikiri-style, free and open around the clock with no booking needed, and the water is drawn from the local hot spring and kept flowing fresh into the tubs. The open-air baths have no fence or wall around them, just a stream and forest below, so the setting stays private on its own. The inn is built around traveling with dogs, welcome in the rooms, lobby, corridors and even the changing rooms, and dinner centers on a Hida beef course.
