About

Yumesanso is the annex of Spa Village Kamaya, sharing the same milky, sulfur-scented water that runs through Nikko Yumoto Onsen. Both the indoor bath, split by gender, and a small lockable family bath (free, no reservation needed) run on kakenagashi water piped in from a nearby plain. This annex has no rotenburo of its own; guests wanting an open-air soak are sent to the outdoor bath at the main building next door, though its hours are limited. The building is fairly new, opened in 2019, with a light-wood interior, and runs an all-inclusive evening spread of drinks and snacks for guests. Deer sometimes wander past the windows, out in the quiet of Oku-Nikko.
