Nigo Kawa Onsen Shiei Rotemburo

Nigorigo Onsen Shiei Rotenburo (濁河温泉 市営露天風呂) is a simple public open-air bath run by Gero city, tucked into dense mountain forest. The water flows fresh from the source (kakenagashi) and comes out faintly cloudy with a slightly yellowish tint; bathers often remark on how smooth the skin feels afterward. Men's and women's baths are separate. The facility is small and no-frills, open only from late spring through early autumn, and the narrow winding road up the mountain is part of the experience.
