111. Beppu Hosenso, Beppu Visited for higaeri (listed hours 15:00-21:00) for 500 in the indoor bath. Stamp given. Inside there's a large old standard hotel bath. Clear water, temperature is hot. Breathing is tolerable. There also seem to be private baths available by separate reservation — didn't go for one. Unless you're going for stamps, you can skip this one.
