About
The soyu (総湯) at Himi Onsen Kyo sits on the second floor of the Himi Banya-gai (ひみ番屋街) waterfront market complex. The spring water is a strong salt brine, piped in fresh as kakenagashi (源泉掛け流し) with no recirculation. The outdoor bath and main indoor pool both look out toward the Tateyama mountain range. Indoors you'll also find a jet bath, a cold plunge, and a sauna. A rest lounge and the Hokkori Shokudo (ほっこり食堂) dining room are on-site.
