Mahoroba-no-yu (まほろばの湯) is a day-use onsen in the Togatta Onsen (遠刈田温泉) area of Zao, Miyagi. The water flows fresh without recirculation into both the outdoor stone bath and the spacious indoor bath. A nano mist sauna sits alongside, and private baths can be reserved in advance. On-site, the restaurant Kunugi-an occupies an old Japanese-style house and serves set meals. The rest area looks out over the surrounding forest and the four seasons of Zao.
