Umi 乃 Hoteru Hajime

157. Umi-no Hotel Hajime / Hotel New Matsumi, Beppu Stayed overnight. Didn't take meals. There's a bath with a bay view upstairs. No onsen-do stamp. On the 7th floor there are indoor and outdoor baths. Water in both baths is clear, temperature between warm and hot. Breathing in the indoor bath is comfortable. There's also a sauna. The bay view from the outdoor bath is ruined by a terrible number of fences. Effectively no view. There's also a private bath on the 6th floor, which I didn't use. Due to the terrible fences in the scenic bath, this place is strongly not recommended - definitely pick a different hotel.
