Akazawa Onsen Hotel sits on the Izu coast in Ito, where the main draw is the combination of natural onsen water and unobstructed ocean views. The large indoor bath and the rooftop open-air bath both look out over the sea, and some rooms have their own private open-air baths. There is also a private rental rotenburo, Tenkyu no Yu (天穹の湯), on the rooftop, though it has been closed for maintenance. The hotel is the accommodation arm of the wider Izu Akazawa resort complex, which includes a separate day-use bath building.
