Seven baths spread across two bathhouses connected by a covered bridge, all drawing from three spring sources fed directly into the tubs without added water or heat. The lineup includes rock baths built with stones from the Sanari River, a cave bath lit by small lanterns (Hotei-son-no-yu, 布袋尊の湯), indoor baths in several shapes, and both indoor and outdoor sauna. The two bath buildings swap gender designations at midnight, so overnight guests can try each side. Oyu Onsen has over 1,300 years of history, and on a clear day Mt. Komagatake is visible from the riverside rooms.
