Katasekan Hiina is a ryokan (旅館) on the East Izu coast that has its own spring on the grounds. The water is clear and leaves the skin noticeably smooth. Six private open-air baths (rotenburo, 露天風呂) face the sea and are free to use throughout the stay without a reservation, first-come first-served. There is also a private indoor family bath that fits up to several guests. Some rooms come with their own in-room rotenburo. Day-use bathing is not available; the baths are for guests staying overnight.
