About

Ichi no Yu is the bathing wing of Kurura Toda, a roadside station on the Nishi-Izu coast. The setup is simple: one indoor tub and one open-air tub, filled with real spring water that's changed daily rather than recirculated. It runs warm and faintly salty, the kind of soak that keeps you warm long after you dry off, and locals rate it good for the skin. A free foot bath on the entrance terrace draws from the same source. There's a tatami rest room and a small shop selling towels and light food, but otherwise it's built for a quick, inexpensive stop rather than a long stay.
