YesDay-use bathing and the rest area are closed every Friday, and last entry for day-use bathing is 14:30.
The 700 yen Casual Plan (400 yen for elementary-school age and under) covers only the gender-separated indoor bath, Karako-no-yu (唐子の湯). The 3,000 yen Full Enjoyment Plan (2,000 yen for children) adds the mixed-gender outdoor bath, the mixed-gender indoor bath, and the barrel sauna with cold plunge; bathing garments are required in the mixed areas.

Rokuan (六庵) sits farthest into Nyuto Onsenkyo, the cluster of mountain hot-spring inns in Akita, and it's reached on foot only: park below and walk the last stretch through beech forest. The water is a plain sulfur spring, split between a gender-separated indoor bath, Karako-no-yu (唐子の湯), and a mixed-gender side with an open-air bath by the river, a second indoor bath, and a Nordic-style barrel sauna with a cold plunge. Bathing garments are required in the mixed areas. Day-use guests can bathe in the indoor bath alone or add the mixed baths and sauna. Some guest rooms have their own outdoor bath. The spring dates to 1902, and the inn was rebuilt and renamed Rokuan in spring 2025, after decades as Magoroku Onsen.
