Okinawa Kenko Sauna (沖縄健康サウナ) is the closest thing to a super-sento on the island, filling a gap that nowhere else in the prefecture does. The bath floor has two indoor tubs: the yakken-yu (薬健湯), a herbal bath said to ease fatigue and stiffness, and a rotating daily bath that cycles through jasmine, silk-protein, and mugwort variations. For sauna, there is a dry infrared room and a steam sauna available on certain days. Two cold baths follow, one kept very cold and one milder, so beginners can ease in at their own pace. After bathing, a large relaxation room lets you rest properly before heading out. The complex also has a restaurant open at lunchtime and massage services on site.
