Yutorelo Beppu is a modern ryokan in Kamegawa Onsen, one of Beppu's eight hot-spring districts along the bay, a quiet spot that still keeps some feel of its old touji (湯治) cure-bathing days. The baths run on the inn's own source spring, kept flowing fresh, clear water known locally as Bijin no Yu (美人の湯), "beauty water," for how smooth and moisturized it leaves the skin. There's a large indoor bath with a mist sauna and a separate open-air bath in greenery, both split by gender, plus a reservable private bath for families. One room type, a deluxe twin, has its own source-fed bath built in. The hells of Chinoike and Tatsumaki are within walking distance, and the lounge runs board games and a free-flow drink bar in the evening.
