About

A large bathing complex inside Aeon Mall Kusatsu, drawing natural onsen water from a source called Omi Kusatsu Bijin-no-yu (近江草津 美人の湯). The bath floor runs to 13 types, from a two-tier outdoor rock rotenburo (露天岩風呂) to jet and electric baths indoors. The sauna lineup is substantial: a steam-pour sauna (roryu, ロウリュ), a herbal-salt sauna, a barrel sauna, and gender-specific rooms for each side. Cold plunging gets serious treatment too, with a deep pipe bath reaching 1.6 m. A ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) hall, restaurant, and a tatami rest lounge round things out.
