Yudomari Onsen

A seaside open-air mixed bath on Yakushima, set right at the ocean's edge with a simple low partition between the sides. The water is a soft alkaline simple spring that runs lukewarm, around the temperature of the sea on a warm day, so you can stay in for a long time. A tarp structure keeps the rain and prying eyes out. One of a pair with Hirauchi Kaichu Onsen nearby, but where that one floods at high tide, Yudomari stays accessible around the clock.
