Sendatsugawa Onsen Sendatsugawa no Yu

A wild riverside bath on the banks of the Sendatsu River, accessible with a short hike from Kuroyu Onsen, the path down to the riverbed is easy to miss, so look for the colored streamers. The water temperature varies considerably with the weather; after rain or snowmelt it can drop to barely lukewarm. When conditions are right it flows freely from the ground right at the river's edge. Bear sightings have been reported nearby, so keep your wits about you.
