About

This hotel occupies a former long-established ryokan in Yamashiro Onsen; from outside it looks more like a plain business hotel, but a few traces of the older building remain inside. The two baths rotate daily between men and women: one is spacious with an outdoor rotenburo, the other smaller, with just an indoor bath and a tight sauna. The spring water is piped in rather than drawn on site. Overnight stays include buffet breakfast and dinner, and day-use bathing runs late into the evening with no reservation needed; afterward there's a lounge with manga and massage chairs to relax in.
