About

GLAMPSEASON is a glamping resort in the forest above Akiu Onsen, a short drive from Sendai. Each dome-tent room sits on its own wood deck with a private hinoki (檜) cypress bath and a shower room, so bathing is on your own schedule with nobody else around. Guests also have free run of the large indoor bath next door at sister ryokan Rantei, fed by the Akiu hot spring. The stay revolves around a BBQ dinner cooked at your own deck (Miyagi wagyu is the main event), a poolside Finnish-style sauna you can reserve for a private session, and a free guest lounge stocked with manga and drinks. A few rooms allow dogs, with their own dog run out front.
