Shinhotaka Onsen Yakedake no Sato

A very small, rustic mountain inn where an elderly woman runs everything herself. The hot spring water is excellent, guests say it's the real draw, and the open-air bath has mountain views. The facilities are old and basic, but the water makes the stay worthwhile for those who don't mind roughing it a little.
