NASPA New Otani is a large resort hotel in Echigo-Yuzawa with its own ski slope right outside and a glamping ground next door. The separate men's and women's baths each pair an indoor hall with an outdoor rotenburo and a sauna, filled with natural hot-spring water, and there are private baths you can reserve if you'd rather bathe alone. It's built more for families and ski trips than for atmosphere: spacious rooms, casual dining, and a shuttle bus from Echigo-Yuzawa station.
