About

A small, no-frills hotel in Hakodate's Yunokawa hot spring district, a few minutes from the airport. The single indoor bath for each gender runs on real kakenagashi hot spring water, kept flowing rather than recirculated, and a paid black-silica rock-sauna room is a bit of a local draw. The building and rooms are older, but the place is kept clean and reviewers keep mentioning how kind the staff are, especially for a price that runs noticeably cheaper than the newer onsen hotels nearby. Day-use bathing is offered outside the overnight schedule, handy for an early flight or a late-night bus.
