About

Shiki no Yado Fujisan sits right across from Lake Kawaguchi and Oike Park, and rooms split between a Mount Fuji side and a lake side. Bathing is a single indoor bath split by gender, with no rotenburo or private bath. It draws water from Fuyo-no-yu (芙蓉の湯), one of five springs in the Fujikawaguchiko onsen area that opened back in 1992. By the entrance there's also a free footbath about ten meters long, facing the lake and open to anyone passing by, not just hotel guests. It's a plain, down-to-earth hotel: guests can rent bicycles for a lap around the lake, there's an indoor barbecue site, and the lobby doubles as a small wine shop pouring bottles from across Japan.
