Roma no Izumi is a sento-style bathhouse in Obihiro with two sides: the public bath, Fukunoyu (福の湯), with separate large baths for women and men, and a row of private family baths. The water is a coffee-colored moor type, soft and smooth, and the tubs are fan-shaped. The site describes it as natural onsen water kept flowing fresh (kakenagashi). There are eleven family baths, plus three family baths with their own sauna, rented by the room. The public baths have no sauna. After bathing there is a rest area and a canteen in the same building, open to people who only come to eat. Visitors tend to mention the unhurried, old Showa feel of the place.
