Horoka Onsen Kanoya Onsen Ryokan

A hidden ryokan deep in Tokachi that offers something unusual: three separate indoor mixed baths side by side, each fed by a different spring, sodium, iron, and calcium, each a different color and temperature. A fourth bath, the outdoor rotenburo (露天風呂) with a stronger sulfur note and milky tinge, overlooks a stream. The whole setup flows from natural springs without pumping, and the staff's warmth is mentioned by nearly everyone who visits.
