Adults (12+) pay 650 yen on weekdays (550 yen for Kaizu residents) and 750 yen on holidays (no resident discount then). Children (3-11) pay 350 yen on weekdays (300 yen for residents) and 400 yen on holidays. Kaizu residents 65 and older pay 350 yen with ID. Holders of a disability certificate, plus one attendant, pay only the 100 yen bathing tax.

About
Suisho no Yu sits on a hillside above Kaizu City in Gifu, and cars can't actually reach it: everyone parks at the base of the hill and rides a free shuttle van up, running about every twelve minutes. Once there, the baths spread across rock and hinoki-wood tubs, a jet bath, and a roomy indoor bath, alongside dry and mist saunas. The water itself is a clear, faintly salty spring, kept gently warm rather than piping hot. The outdoor bath is the real draw: it looks straight out over the Nobi Plain, and the night view from the tub is what keeps people coming back.
