Kiminoyu is a large day-use bathhouse in Otawara with an indoor bath, a semi-open-air rotenburo, a sauna and cold plunge, jet and electric baths, plus private baths, kashikiri (貸切風呂), that you can book by the hour. There's also a ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) rock-bed sauna, and a small cottage annex for overnight guests. The spring water is kept flowing fresh and feels smooth on the skin, the kind of thing regulars keep mentioning. Downstairs has an easygoing, local feel: a big dining hall, and a stand by the entrance where nearby farmers sell their vegetables.
