YesDay-use guests can use the outdoor and indoor baths plus Ryujin-no-yu (竜神の湯), but Ryujin-no-yu closes to day visitors at 14:00 (guest-only after that). In winter the outdoor bath sometimes closes for cleaning at irregular times, mainly Monday mornings.

This ryokan takes its name from the water: a mildly alkaline, sulfur-scented spring so smooth on the skin that everyone just calls it Tsurutsuru (smooth-smooth). It runs kakenagashi straight from the source. Bathing is spread across an open-air bath backed onto the forest, where deer and squirrels sometimes wander by, a spacious indoor bath, and a smaller, quieter bath called Ryujin-no-yu (竜神の湯) that turns guest-only in the afternoon. There is no sauna, just plain hot water and mountain air. It sits as a quiet wooden inn among forest and river at the foot of Daisetsuzan.
