Toyo Koryu Center Seseragi

Yumeakari is the bathing wing of the Michi-no-Eki Toyo roadside station, in the hills of Yatsushiro. The indoor bath room has four tubs, hot, lukewarm and a cold plunge for the sauna, plus a sauna and a mist sauna that runs on the spring water itself. Outside there's a rotenburo looking over the mountain village with the sound of the river, and two kashikiri family baths, each with its own small open-air tub. The water is a plain alkaline spring, felt as a soft, smooth-on-the-skin soak rather than anything mineral-heavy. It draws plenty of locals along with travelers stopping at the roadside station for the attached restaurant and bakery.
