Uchi no pension

Uchi no Pension is a small guesthouse in Nakao Onsen, part of the Okuhida Onsengo cluster in Gifu. Both the outdoor and indoor baths are private, reserved for one party at a time, and there's also a small foot bath just for guests. The spring gushes up on its own right on the property, so no pump is needed to bring the water up or move it around; it's cooled with mountain spring water before reaching the tub. The open-air bath looks out toward the ridgeline of the Northern Alps.
