About

This resort houses guests in round dome-shaped cottages inside Shirahama's Toretore Park, each cottage its own separate unit, with a choice of twin-bed rooms or Japanese-style tatami rooms (some domes also take small dogs). The park's two onsen bathhouses, Toretore no Yu (とれとれの湯) and Katata no Yu (カタタの湯), are a short walk or drive from the village and are entered by ticket rather than being part of the lodging itself. The dome rows sit on rising ground with a view of the sea by day and the lit-up village by night. Toretore Park around the cottages has its own seafood market and buffet/barbecue dining, plus a playground built for the families who make up most of the guests.
