Kamenoi Hotel Aomori Makado sits on the Makado Onsen (馬門温泉, Makado Onsen) spring in rural Aomori. Both the men's and women's large baths have a covered open-air rock bath alongside the indoor pool, and on still days a faint salt breeze from Mutsu Bay drifts through. Each bath area also has a mist sauna. The hotel is overnight-only; drop-in bathing is not currently available.
